Howddy is a first of its kind online self-drive EV subscription and last mile delivery service, offering electric vehicle solutions to corporate clients, via its online platform. It enables users to subscribe an available EV post providing relevant details or opt for first and last mile delivery solution. EV subscriptions are charged as per delivery hours and delivery service as per cost per order, thus helping organizations a cost effective and convenient solution in their end to end delivery service. Howddy intends to be a part of the Indian Government’s growth story by pushing the adoption of electric vehicles and support their mission to 28 Mn units by 2030.
Howddy shall contribute to scaling up of employment in Tier 2 & 3 places through channels of their partners and OEM’s such as Hero Electric ,Amper, Kinetic Green, Exicom and Sun Mobility for its vehicle and battery swapping solutions.Howddy is stepped out with larger objective to replaceof all delivery vehicles to electric. Howddy is set out to target 1L scooters in the subscription model in next 5 years. With Howddy’s entry into the 3 wheel electric cargo vehicles with Bigbasket, Howddy is the only company in India to provide a complete last mile delivery solutionto its customers.
Howddy’s current prospect clients include lead market players such Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Swiggy and Big Basket to name a few. Currently providing services at Bangalore , Howddy looks at penetrating into the major metropole cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi & Gurgaon in the next 1 year. The company is a startup venture and is self-funded, however with the current expansion plans Howddy is looking at raising funds from PE firms, venture capitalists and impact investors.
Founded by a group of 3 friends, AisshwaryaDeshmukkh – COO/CMO who leads the company with her strategic business development and marketing skills happens to be India’s only and first woman entrepreneur in the electric last mile delivery industry.Aashirwad – CEO overlooks and manages the supply chain market and drives in the sales. Kannan Marimuthu – CTO builds consensus by implementing technology and enterprise systems for the company. With combined forces of all 3, Howddy looks at being a part and leading the revolution and change that is about to take place in the Indian delivery industry.
